Manta Rays - Week of July 1st
Hello Manta Rays,
Congrats on our 2nd place win at Champs!! This is it! Last week of the season! BIG THANKS to all our wonderful parents that volunteered this season! 😊 Swimming is unlike any other sport. We need all parents to be involved and volunteer to help make a successful season. BIG THANKS!
This Week:
Monday, July 1st
- *9:00 am – 11:00 am (*time changed & tentative) All-Star Practice for those that qualified
for All-Stars
- Claudia will send an unofficial list later tonight/early morning to those that need to show up for practice tomorrow. We should have official results no later than noon tomorrow.
- 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm End of Season Party
- Dinner & Dessert & Games for the kids
- Bring a folding chair – we have over 200 people that RSVP
Tuesday, July 2nd
- *9:00 am – 11:00 am (*time changed & tentative) All-Star Practice for those that qualified for All-Stars
Wednesday, July 3rd – All-Star Meet for those that qualify at Palo Alto (info attached)
- 4:30 pm Check in w/Wyatt
- 5:00 pm MOUN Warm-up
- 6:15 pm Meet Starts
- ** CAPS $12, CAR STICKERS $3, AND BAGS $2 - CASH OR CHECKS ONLY!
- **We will need parents attending the All-Star meet to help as officials, timers, awards, etc. Nobody is assigned, but everyone from all teams is expected to step up and help. The meet goes very fast. Only 1 heat per event. Please listen when they call for volunteers and represent our team well.
Thursday, July 4th – Happy 4th of July
Friday, July 5th until Sunday, July 7th
- Can pick up any remaining ribbons including All-Star ribbons at Kelly Hunt’s house (23919 Sunset Peak). The family box will be on my front porch from Friday 10 am through Sunday 8 pm.
Volunteers needed for end of season party: 3 clean up
