    2017 Manta Rays Clinics - Scorekeepers

    Hello Richard & Laura - 

    It is that time of year to start the planning for 2017 swim team season!! It will be here before we know it.  I wanted to thank you both for your past participation as a scorekeeper.  I am hoping that you will be able to help us again for the upcoming season. Pretty pretty please :)  

    Please respond to this email and let me know if you are able to help again or not so we can plan accordingly. 

    Please take note of the 2017 MSSL Scorekeeper's Software Clinics. Please see the details below. As you know, you have to attend a short refresher training even if you are RETURNING this year and served in one of these positions last year.

    Dual Meet dates should be published soon. Champs are Jun 24 & 25 and All Stars are Jan 29th. Thanks again for your dedication to our team and swimmers!  We could not be successful without you!

    There are 2 dates available - April 30th or May 6th.
    Location: JCC Admin. Bldg. Room #229 from 2 - 4 p.m.
    (You need only to attend one of the software clinics as the information being given is the same.) 

    Objective: To become familiar with Hy-Tek Meet Manager software. Scorekeepers learn how to use the Dolphin Timing System in conjunction with Meet Manager to run meets.                           
     

    Attendees:
    1. Please follow the guidelines on Hy-Tek Team Manager Set-up Document and the Hy-Tek Meet Manager: Meets Document located on the Hy-Tek Downloads page on the league web site in the private member section listed at the bottom of the home page. The user ID and password will be given to you by your team rep.

    2. Have Team Manager and Meet Manager software and the Dolphin Timing system loaded and updated on the team's computer. Team Reps should have the team roster already entered into Team Manager according to the TM document directions.
    3. Have at least 1 home dual meet set up in Meet Manager by following the directions on how to set up the meet from the Meet Manager document #1. Name the meets. Example: ABC Swim Team vs. XYZ Swim Team.
    4. Print out the Meet Manager documents and bring them with you to the clinic.
    5. Bring a fully-charged battery and/or a long multi-plug extension cord to the clinic.
