IMPORTANT: Parents! Swimmer's ear and ear infections are going around. The bacteria that cause these and other infections can be spread in the pool, despite efforts to keep it properly chemically balanced.
!!!! TIP !!!!!!! After your child swims each day, use a few drops of rubbing alcohol to dry out the ear. Or, use a blow dryer on your child's ears!
Coach Claudia also recommends swimmers wearing their swim caps to help less water from entering the ear canal.
