READ CHAMPIONSHIP MEET INFO
Here we go .. lots of info ... the Championship Meet is a very different meet than the dual meets. This meet will be run in 2 pools at the same time and swimmers will be sitting with teammates the entire meet NOT with their parents. All parents please read and reread the information about this meet. There are 2 attached documents with more information and the volunteer list.

- 1 clean up
- 1-2 home base parents for 11 and up - will help with crowd control and swimmers will check in/out with you if leaving home base area for any reason other than swimming
- 1-2 home base parents for 10 and under - will help with crowd control and swimmers will check in/out with you if leaving home base area for any reason other than swimming
- Need 4-5 more ez ups -- if you can bring and set up/take down in swimmer area
The North pool (swimmers ages 10 and under -- pool by the entrance): Event #s: 9-14, 21-24, 31-32, 39-44, 51-54, 61-64
The South pool (beginning medley relays and swimmers 11 and up): Event #s: 1-8,15-20, 25-30, 33-38, 45-50, 55-60, 65-68
Championship Meet: SUNDAY JUNE 28th
Where: 8400 North Loop 1604 West, San Antonio, 78249
Teams: Cibolo Canyons, Heights @ Stone Oak, Mountain Lodge, Northern Hills, Timberwood Park, & Whispering Oaks
Check in: 6:45 am (by the "swimmer home base" )
Warm up: 7:00 am to 7:40 am
Meet starts: 8:00 am sharp!
** If you do not check in, we do not know you are at the meet & your swimmer will be scratched from his/her events! So please make sure you check in with the volunteers at the check in tables! The strips will have the event number - then find heat/lane on the heat sheet.
** ALL parents, please make sure you also check in with our volunteer coordinator, Mandy Howland (will be at the check in table), to let her know you are here and to see if there are any open spots you can help with or if we needed to move you to a different volunteer spot. Last year, these volunteers had a name tag -- lane line up, timer, awards, head timer, or clean up -- please see Mandy at the meet to see if you are required to wear one this year.
Where to sit:
- Parents will sit in the bleachers at either end of the pool (please note older swimmers (and beginning relays) are in the south pool, younger swimmers are in the north pool (right by the entrance))
- Swimmers - ALL swimmers will sit outside in the home base area -- NO EXCEPTIONS - bring towels, folding chairs, and something to occupy their time (cards, electronics, games, etc)
Concessions: breakfast tacos, muffins, donuts, pastries, fresh fruit smoothies, fruit, hot dogs, nachos, yogurt, chicken sandwiches, pizza, chips, candy, and drinks to include coffee, water, Gatorade, sodas, ice tea. NO OUTSIDE FOOD. NO ICE CHEST.
Heat Sheets: Cost $5 - will NOT be emailed before - purchased at the meet. You will easily be lost without a heat sheet -- highly recommend having your own. Please bring exact change for heat sheet.
Emergency: Please call/text Kelly at (210)316-9086 or Erin at (610) 613-9235! We will get word to Coach Claudia and all necessary meet personnel!
Other Reminders:
- This meet goes very fast. Follow heat sheet -- 2 heat sheets will be stapled together. 1 for the north pool and 1 for the south pool.
- ALL Swimmers will all sit together outside in our designated team area -- no exceptions!!

- Please read the 2 attached documents from the league with Championship Information
- All-Star Meet Qualifiers: The 1st place winners for both individual and relay events from each Division qualifies for the All-Star Meet followed by the next 4 fastest times from any division. If a swimmer cannot attend the June 30th All-Star Meet (Tuesday at Wildhorse), the lane remains empty. At least 3 out of the 4 swimmers from the division championship meet relay team must swim at the All-Star Meet or the lane remains empty.
