    Ready Bench Meet #4

    Dear Ready Bench Volunteers,

     

    Thank you for volunteering for Ready Bench ("RB")!!!  Attached is a one page sheet with information on the Ready Bench volunteer positions, that will be helpful to review prior to the meet and then bring with you.  If you are new to volunteering at the Ready Bench, it is especially important to read over it so that you have an idea of the functions of the RB.

     

    Here are a few things to bring with you to the Ready Bench:

     

    1.  Please make sure you print out a Heat Sheet at home and bring it to the meet.  (Kelly will be emailing this out prior to the meet.)  Prior to your Ready Bench shift, you need to modify your heat sheet for the 1/2 of the meet you are working to show only Manta Ray swimmers.  You can do this one of 2 ways:  (1) Hightlight all of our swimmers, OR (2) Use a pen to mark out all the other team’s swimmers.  Manta Rays’s swimmers will be designated as “MOUN-ST” under the team column, and the other team will be designated something else (ie - “WILD-ST” for Wild Horse, or “TIPA” for Timberwood Park.)  This will help you greatly during your volunteer time at the RB if you have this done prior to your volunteer session. 

     

    1. Bring one or more good highlighters and a pen to the meet.  (We will provide clip-boards.)

     

    ALL VOLUNTEERS (both Session 1 and 2), please come to the RB at the start of OUR TEAM’S WARM-UPS, so that we know you are present.  We will tell you which position you are assigned to, and whose place you will be taking, if you are working 2nd half.  If you are working Session 2, please report to the RB by event 31-32, so that whoever is working that position before you can train you.
