    2nd Meet and Upcoming Week

    Manta Rays,

Wow  - what a night!  I am so proud of our team!  Everyone really stepped it up tonight with the all the changes in the heat sheet and having back to back meets.   Coach Claudia will be sending meet results on Tuesday.

    • BIG THANKS to head ready bench volunteers Nicole Motl, Tisha Circe, Traci Fox, Norma Jean Giffin, and the other ready bench volunteers for doing a FANTASTIC JOB tonight!  Was extra challenging with the change in lane/heats on the heat sheet and these parents did not miss a beat!
    • BIG THANKS to my counterpart, Erin Kirwan, who helped the entire meet with an on deck holding area because the space behind the blocks was very limited.
    • BIG THANKS to Coach Claudia, Mauricio, Arya and Melania for doing a great job tonight getting our kids lined up and in the correct spot for relays/events!
    • BIG THANKS to our Stroke and Turn Judges  - Claudia La Beau, Greg Motl, Natalie Miller, and Alyson Moyer (worked last meet) - these folks work the entire meet and give feedback to swimmers so they can improve and make their strokes legal.
    • BIG THANKS to Christina Roland and Richard Moralez, scorekeepers, for assisting the new Timberwood Park scorekeepers during the entire meet.
    • BIG THANKS to all the parents that volunteered at this meet!
    • BIG THANKS to all the parents on our team for having patience with the delayed start at the last 2 meets -- lots of things can go wrong at the beginning of a meet causing delays.  I appreciate everyone being so patient!  Please use the extra time waiting to get to know other parents on the team -- we have such a great group of families!
    • BIG THANKS to the swimmers I heard cheering on their teammates tonight!  Loved the positive sportsmanship!
    • It takes all of us working together for the meets to run smoothly.
    • Items found: pink and blue chairs from academy (looks new with tags - on bench near the check in table), big black blanket (with the new chairs), tan/neutral color towel (on stage area), red cap with letters GS (I think -- on stage area)  -- please let me know if they are yours
