Manta Rays,

Congratulations Manta Ray Swimmers 1 down 4 to go!! You all did a great job on our first meet. I'm so proud you all gave it your best, and especially we all had fun!! I want to thank you parents for all you do and thank Coach Arya and Coach Melania for their help.

I want to explain several things:

I know some of you were disappointed that your swimmer did not get to swim all the events your swimmer was entered in. Last minute changes have to be made if 1 swimmer ends up not going to the meet and they are in a relay.  I often will have to make changes to individual events so they can swim the relay or may have to scratch a whole relay from the meet. Please let me know ASAP if your swimmer is unable to make a meet they were scheduled for.

I wish I could enter all kids in all events but if we see they are not swimming it legal we don't, we don't want your swimmer to get disappointed if he or she gets DQ. We will keep on working with them to try to get them ready for all strokes but in a 2 month season is hard but will keep on trying our best to get there.

Now having official times for each of your swimmers entries for relays are easier.

MONDAY'S MEET:

We have meet on Monday I don't like back to back meets because we can't correct your swimmers errors but that's the schedule they gave us. For this meet please don't get surprised if your swimmer's times are higher. The pool is a 25.7 meter pool ours is 25 Yard so times will be different.

Also swimmers will be diving from the deck so there will be no starts from the blocks.
