We hope everyone is enjoying their 3 day weekend!  It has been rather chilly to think about summer swim team but we want to keep our parents informed. :)

2015 meet dates have been set.   Remember, all swimmers must commit to 3 or more swim meets in 2015 to be eligible for the swim team.   We want 100% attendance at the Championship Meet (the most important meet of the season).  Please put these meet dates/times on your calendar for 2015:

Meet #1 AWAY (Wildhorse pool) - Friday June 5th check in at 4:45 pm

Meet #2 AWAY (**changed to Timberwood Park pool) - Monday June 8th, check in at 4:15 pm

Meet #3 HOME (Mountain Lodge pool- Seven Winds) - Monday June 15th, check in at 3:45 pm

Meet #4 AWAY (ML HOST at Smithson Valley Pool) - Saturday June 20th, check in at 7:45 am

**Championship Weekend (ALL SWIMMERS at Palto Alto Natatorium) Sat/Sun June 27th/June 28th, time TBA

All Star Meet (for qualifying swimmers at Wildhorse Pool) - Tuesday June 30th, time TBA

 

Interested in having the best view during the swim meets?  Train to be a stroke and turn judge.  Below are the dates for NEW stroke and turn judges.  Pick 1 to attend.  Please email [email protected] if you are interested in being a NEW stroke and turn judge for 2015.

Clinics for NEW Ref, Starter, and Stroke and Turn Judges:
Clinic # 1B: Sunday, May 3rd, 2015 from 3 - 5 p.m.
Clinic # 2B: Saturday, May 9th, 2015 from 3 - 5 p.m.
Clinic # 3B: Sunday, May 17th, 2015 from 3 - 5 p.m.

CLINIC FOR NEW STROKE & TURN JUDGES conducted by Beth Anderson in Room 227/228
OBJECTIVE: To familiarize new stroke & turn judges with the MSSL Rules and to answer all questions.

Have a swimmer that is a current senior and is going to swim with us summer 2015? The MSSL gives at least two $500 university scholarships each year.  Applications due by March 31, 2015. Click on the link below for more information.
