    Reminders

We hope everyone is having a great week!  It is super busy for families this time of year.  Couple quick things to address:

    • Reminder, Manta Rays munchies is this Thursday.
    • Stroke Technique Clinics for breaststroke and butterfly are this Friday and Saturday.
    • Coach Claudia has emailed the parents of 6 and under swimmers to notify them if they are going to be on the learn to swim/noncompetitive roster or competitive roster for this season.  All swimmers ages 7 and over are on the competitive roster, unless you have previously talked with Coach Claudia or Kelly Hunt about voluntarily placing your swimmer(s) on the noncompetitive roster.  Coach Claudia will still be working with both groups during the first practice.  We will be holding a mini meet for our 6 and under learn to swim swimmers on June 27th, during our special practice.  If you have any questions about the learn to swim roster/noncompetitive roster, please email Coach Claudia or Kelly Hunt.
    • Please let us know by the end of practice this Thursday May 22nd  if your swimmer(s) will NOT be attending the meet on Saturday May 31st (sign orange sheet).  Mindy will be emailing a volunteer list out next week as a reminder of who signed up.  You can also find the information on our website.  Log in with your email and password rays!  (with the exclamation point).  Click on Swim Meets and V for volunteers to see a full list of volunteers. http://mountainlodgemantarays.swim-team.us/
    • Next Thursday May 29th is a big night at the Seven Winds Pool.  Individual pictures will start at 5:30pm.  Team picture at 6:30pm - wear your team suit.  A picture order form will be emailed out next week.  Ice-cream social for kids and parent meeting for parents at 7:00pm.  You will also receive your team t- shirts, team bag, and any additional team t-shirts or tanks ordered.  Please plan on attending this night!
    • Next Saturday May 31st is our first away dual meet.  You will receive more information about this meet next week. For new swim parents and a refresher for seasoned parents, I would recommend going to our website and read preparing for a meet --  under swim meets, preparing for a meet.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

    Sincerely,
    Kelly Hunt & Erin Kirwan
    Team Manager & Assistant Manager
