    IMPORTANT 4TH MEET INFORMATION

    IMPORTANT 4TH MEET INFORMATION
OUR MEET IS MOVING TO THE SMITHSON VALLEY SEADRAGONS POOL AT SMITHSON VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL.
Parents, our 4th meet is coming up on Monday, June 24th. We are swimming against the Smithson Valley Seadragons & they have graciously offered to host the meet at their pool (at Smithson Valley High School) in order for the meet to run in a timely manner. Their pool has 6 lanes and this will allow our meet to run 50% faster. They are a very large team with 200 + swimmers and we will be taking 100+ swimmers with us, this makes for a very large meet and tight quarters around our pool.
We visited the site and as a swim team board came to the decision that this would be best for everyone. We will still be considered the host team and be able to run concessions & sell heat sheets to benefit our team! Parking is also going to be much easier as we will be parking in the high school parking lot.
I will be sending an email later in the week with more detailed information, but wanted to share some general information with you for planning and getting your swimmers there in a timely manner. The Seadragons kindly allowed us to take the 2nd warm up time so we do not have to be there as early, so arrival times are listed below:
Meet Check In is from 3:45 to 4:00
If we do not see you by 4:00 you swimmer will be substituted in any relays!
Warm up is from 4:15 to 4:45
Meet will begin promptly at 5:00

We will traveling North on 281 and traffic should not be an issue, the trip can easily be made in 20 minutes. If you need help getting your swimmers there please do not hesitate to ask a fellow swim family. If this move makes it impossible for you to attend we need you to sign the orange sheet at the pool by Wednesday, or go to website and mark your swimmer as not attending this meet. We need every swimmer there that can possibly attend!

Thank you for your understanding and patience and we will see you at the pool!

    Thank you,
